India is the country with the largest widow population in the world. It is estimated there are 40 million widows in India today \u2013 10 per cent of the country\u2019s female population. It has become home to the \u201chusbandless\u201d.<\/p>

The widows are the unacceptable face of India, many leading agencies including Central and Local Governments have failed them, Politicians with rare exceptions have ignored them and wider society continues to exploit them.<\/p>

Widowed women and their children need our support. Save The Humanity Feather was founded with the aim to instill a sense of welfare and bring about a social change in the way we see these pressing concerns. Our aim is to provide financial and social as well as economic security for women who have faced the hardship of widowhood. Help us to assist and support elderly and young widowed women in rural and urban areas regain a chance at a more secure life. We aim to bring about a change in the socio-economic condition of poor and needy people and weaker sections of society. Our charitable initiatives also focus on women and children health. Core areas where we strive to make a difference include education and employment as economic empowerment is the key to uplifting the poor and alleviating their distress.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

\u00a0We need hands united and start with a small step together to make it later a stride. Become a part of us to see the way we see it and then we won\u2019t fail to notice those who need our attention.
